I enjoy solving problems
As long as I can remember, I have been a creative person. My father, a carpenter and artist; my mother, a creative home-maker and fabulous cook. It is no wonder that with such parents, I grew up wanting to make things.
At the root of all creative endeavor is the exercise of problem solving. The best designers are problem solvers. The best solutions join form and function in harmony.
Over the past seven years I have pursued design, specializing in Web-design, Information Architecture, Content Strategy, and Front-end Development. I enjoy the special set of problems that working on the internet brings and the solutions it offers.

Dragoon Brewing Co.
Dragoon Brewing Co. is artisan brewing company based in Tucson, Arizona. The logo needed to be simple and flexible, while tying in with the history of the Dragoon Mountains.
The brewery should have fine beers available this next February.

Emmanuel
Emmanuel Baptist Church was looking to completely revamp its image. The church community is diverse and has been apart of the Tucson community for many decades, so I chose to represent this diversity and history with a varied color scheme, tying it in with the iconic Palo Verde tree scene all over Tucson.

Second Mile
Second Mile is a ministry based in Sierra Vista, Arizona that focusses on reaching out to young adults and college students.
The name is derived from Christ's command to go the extra mile out of love for our fellow man, Matthew 5:41.

The Ransomed
The Ransomed is a new church plant in the Denver, Colorado Metro area. The church is scheduled to start ministry in summer 2013, and will reach out to both the Denver and Boulder Colorado populations.

Today for Tomorrow is an Arizona based education campaign focussed on educating people about the benefits and realities of sustainable planning and urban development.

Ignition is the collegiate ministry of Calvary Tucson. It focusses on outreach to the students at The University of Arizona.

School of Music at The University of Arizona
Part of a total overhaul of all the school site of the College of Fine Arts at The University of arizona, the redesign of the School of Music website included everything from complete rework of information architecture and content strategy, to moving to a new content management system and a brand new aesthetic. The site was built using HTML5 and CSS3

Emmanuel Baptist Church
Emmanuel Baptist Church was looking to completely revamp its image and part of that meant revamping their online presence. The site needed to cater to a wide demographic and age range, so care was taken to make sure that the fonts used as well as the colors were easy to read on screen.

From time to time, I am asked to consult as a third party on projects. When The University of Arizona started working out their content strategy and information architecture for their new site, I was asked to advise on the Arts and Museums portion of the site.
